Getting Ahead in a just gettin by world

This "kitchen table style" class is for those on the lower rungs of the economic ladder, "just getting by", who want to create a plan for a better future.

Getting Ahead explores the hidden rules of class that could be holding you back, and helps you learn to smart goals to create a plan to use this information to get ahead.

This class is generally once a week for 17-20 weeks. There is often (depending on the available budget) an incentive for participation, such as a gift card.

It takes at least 12 people committed to seeing the program through to the end to start a Getting Ahead Class. If you think you might be one of those twelve, let us know.

Sometimes, when we have interest we hold an open House to talk about the class. If you think you might be interested, let us know.

If you are a volunteer or staff at an agency or otherwise working with someone who could benefit from the Getting Ahead class, you can make an Agency Referral. Those referred by an agency will recieve preference if the waiting list is too big for the next class.
