Thanks for a successful 2005 Day of Caring!

On Tuesday, September 13, more than 1,300 volunteers throughout the Eastern Panhandle helped meet the needs of the community by participating in nearly 100 projects.  These ranged from reading to children to repairing the homes of the elderly to making a quilt for charity to playing bingo with seniors. Volunteers cleaned, hammered, painted, and mulched.   Thanks to all those who participated and made the day such a success.  Don't forget to mark your calendar for next year's Day of Caring . . . :Tuesday, September 12, 2006.
