When March 2020 brought the declaration of a global pandemic, we knew Day of Caring would need to be canceled. So, we re-imagined how we could serve those in need in a meaningful way through this new normal.
Our Goal is to help those who need to stay home, but also need grocery or medicine, by delivering groceries, or food pantry boxes, to the client. Care Trip procedure is a “Knock, drop, and walk”—no contact delivery. Clients have agreed that their package(s) may be left on the doorstep. NO clients, under any circumstances, are transported.
